As you can see, there was a lot of good food to be had (food also happens to be fun to take pictures of I guess!).
It was a different type of Christmas for us this year... staying in Newfoundland, just the two of us. But we really enjoyed it. It gave us a chance to start some traditions for our own little family! It's fun to see what we each bring from our childhoods-- luckily a lot of things are very similar so there wasn't a lot of adjustment to make. We got to talk to all of our family members in Ontario, BC and Alberta so that was really nice as well. Also, St. John's was just beautiful-- cold, clear and snowy- very Christmasy. We are now settling into a couple days of relaxing and waiting for a baby!
